Our Recruitment Process

Step 1

Screening And Shortlisting​

Screening and Shortlisting of Qualified Candidates based on minimum eligibility criteria for our 3 specialisations.​

Step 2

Online Assessment

Shortlisted candidates are then contacted to take an online assessment that lasts for a maximum period of 35 minutes.

Step 3

Onsite Assessment

Next is an onsite assessment comprising six (6) sections. Three (3) general sections and one section each for all our specialisations.

Section 1: Analytical Section (30 minutes)

Section 2: Quantitative Section (30 minutes)

Section 3: Logical Reasoning Section (30 minutes)

Section 4: Data Science Section (30 minutes)

Section 5: Software Development & Engineering Section (30 minutes)

Section 6: Software Testing and Verification Section (33 minutes)

Step 4

Face-to-Face Interviews

Next is a face-to-face interview at the AmaliTech office in Takoradi.

Step 5

Offer and Hire

Once candidates prove themselves capable of fitting into the AmaliTech Training Academy, an offer is made and candidates are enrolled into our Training Academy.

Graduate Trainee Programme Specialisations

Data Science

The Data Science Specialisation is open to graduates with a minimum of Bachelors or higher degree, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, Natural Sciences or similar field who are willing to be enrolled in our Training Academy to undergo intensive training for up to a period of (Six) 6 months in Data Science.

Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Natural Sciences or a closely related field;
  • Candidates must have taken at least one course related to probability and statistics during their undergraduate degree;
  • Strong interest in data science and analytics;
  • Familiarity with Statistical Analysis Software like STATA or SPSS, etc.
  • Excellent working knowledge of at least one software programming language

Software Development and Engineering

The AmaliTech Graduate Trainee Programme (Software Development & Engineering) is open to graduates with a minimum of a bachelors degree or higher degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT who are willing to be enrolled in our Training Academy to undergo intensive training for up to a period of (Six) 6 months in Software Development and Engineering.

Qualification

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT
  • Must have taken courses in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming during the undergraduate studies
  • Strong interest and temperament for Computer Programming
  • Good working knowledge of at least one programming language (either C/C++ or Java).
  • Excellent working knowledge of at least one software programming language

Software Testing & Verification

Software Testing & Verification Specialisation is open to graduates with a minimum of an HND in ICT with good working knowledge of software programming, or a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, other Engineering Programmes or Natural Sciences who are willing to be enrolled in our Training Academy to undergo intensive training for up to a period of (six) 6 months in Software Testing & Verification.

Qualification

  • Minimum of an HND in ICT with good working knowledge of software programming, or a bachelor’s degree or Higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, other Engineering Programmes or Natural Sciences;
  • Must have strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Excellent working knowledge of at least one software programming language

This will give candidates a fair idea of the nature of our assessments, measure their performance and study the relevant topics to ensure there are well prepared for the actual online and onsite assessments should they get shortlisted.
